This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the company’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year. As part of our due diligence processes we will endeavour to vet all new suppliers, and to demonstrate their understanding of section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

NC Construction Services Ltd recognises their obligations to ensure that any form of modern slavery risks are dealt with in a vigorous way. All NCC employers are required to act whenever any concerns are raised whether from within or from outside of the business.

Organisation Structure

We are a Construction company working solely in the South East; our offices are in Hornchurch Essex.

Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that modern slavery or human trafficking plays no part in our supply chain or business.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implement and enforce effective controls to, as far as practical, ensuring slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in the company or supply chain.

Our Supply Chain

We procure many services in the construction industry; from sub-contractors, consultants, skilled and unskilled labour, building materials/products and also manufactured products.

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risks, where possible we build longstanding relationships with our suppliers and sub-contractors and make clear our expectations of business behaviour. We have in place systems to encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of whistle blowers.

Supplier Adherence to our Values

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking and we expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our values.

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to all our senior managers.
