NC Construction was appointed as Main Contractor by Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust to deliver the full refurbishment and fit-out of Horizon House — transforming the space into a modern, efficient, and collaborative office environment.
The scheme included the creation of new workspaces, meeting rooms, and staff welfare facilities, alongside full mechanical, electrical, and IT installations. Our team managed all aspects of the build from strip-out and partitioning through to final finishes, maintaining close communication with the Trust throughout delivery.
The refurbishment provided a complete internal transformation, incorporating:
New reception area with modern finishes
Store and post room fit-out
Purpose-built COMMS room with new IT infrastructure
Formation of new office areas and working spaces
Creation of a suite of meeting rooms with acoustic privacy
Large breakout and collaboration area
New staff kitchen and tea point installation
Associated M&E alterations and new system installations throughout
Our delivery team worked efficiently to complete the project two weeks ahead of the 14-week programme, ensuring early handover to the client.
The works were delivered with a strong focus on quality, communication, and minimal disruption, with all systems fully commissioned and tested prior to completion. The result is a bright, functional office environment that enhances staff wellbeing and operational productivity.
